Little Food Pantry
Covenant’s Little Free Pantry is a community-based effort to help meet the immediate and local need for food in our neighborhood. You do not need anyone’s permission to take or leave food and you do not need to be a member.

Halifax Urban Ministries
The purpose of Halifax Urban Ministries (HUM) is to respond to the needs of the hungry, homeless, and low income people in Volusia and Flagler counties. HUM feeds men, women and children a hot meal every day at the North Street Kitchen and also provides emergency services with the prime objective of keeping people from becoming homeless.
Covenant UMC volunteers the second Monday of each month and we serve over 300 people at lunch. If you feel called, we invite you to join us in this half day mission. Meet here in the church parking lot to ride over together in the church van that will leave at 9am and returns around 2pm.

Family Renew Community
Family Renew Community, has a mission to alleviate homelessness among families with children in Volusia County. Families may stay for six months or more, and during that time the program is to assist them to become self-supporting. Families are expected to work and save toward their goals and to remain drug-free and alcohol-free. The purpose is to achieve both permanent housing and self-sufficiency. Covenant supports Family Renew financially; we also visit the families at different holidays through-out the year to bring gifts for the children.
Florida United Methodist Children's Home
The Florida United Methodist Children's Home was established in 1908 to provide a home for orphans and other children that had nowhere else to live. Today it serves as a diverse ministry with two campuses that include residential, therapeutic group, foster and emergency shelter care. The Home also provides independent living assistance and a community child care center. Strong church support enables the program of the Home to maintain its ministry as a significant Christian outreach committed to the well-being of children, youth and their families.
Resources for Women
Resources For Women provide free and confidential support for women who are pregnant. Our Baby Bottle fundraiser at Covenant that begins on Mothers Day and continues through Fathers Day, helps support this agency. For quarterly newsletter, click here.
